Hi all, The Central Group have started thinking about next years Central Show nice and early this time, and we are looking for comments and suggestions about what is working and what people would like to see. What are people’s opinions on the drifting say, does it add to the show or is it a nuisance that just sprays rubber and stones about? Some new ideas we are currently looking into are; Large Children’s play area / activities Honda Pilot Buggies / Quad Bikes Largest Escort Cosworth Display in years, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the legend. Auto Jumble / Car boot sale (car parts only) Inter Club competitions Drag race competitions The usually show regulars will also be in attendance, Club Displays, Concourse, Cars for Sale, Show and Shine, Traders, etc. So if anyone has any suggestion or things that they think could work for next year, all ideas welcome. A new Facebook page has been set up for the show www.facebook.com/Centralshow The page will be updated with all new confirmations and updates to the show as and when they. Also feel free to load up your photos of past shows or post up any comments.
Really glad to see you have posted this ,as I was getting called all sorts for sorting out my groups Diary for 2012 last week ,I really do think more things aimed at kids is a good thing as like any parent they do get bored pretty darn quick
Drifting is alway's popular at the other Event's I attend at Pod plus the embankment is full when they do it at Coombes, so someone must like it. Would be nice if Pod opened more of the fair stuff to keep the kids happy but it could be down to cost
What about charity passenger rides?, might go down well especially for people wanting to go on the strip without having to use their own car Could earn quite a few quid for the chosen charity fairly quick aswell
