    to be honest ive had a pig of a day, swapped just about every poxy thing under the bonnet that ive got a spare for and it still wont run properly, if i can get down to give you all a hand i will do

    Good show and nice to talk to some of the other groups and see some great cars from yesteryear.
    A pity that a lot of East Yorks group are hard to talk too and not welcoming/socialable to new members.
    Tempted to join one of the other groups or just stay on the Lotus scene.

    I have just got in from our monthly meet which was very friendly!!

    Not sure who you are mate and nor is anyone else in the club but who exactly have you spoken to from our group or had problems with to reach that conclusion?
    Seems a bit strange to post it on here a few days later.

    Do you come to the meetings?
    Were you helping out on the day?
    Most of us were pretty busy on sunday but i honestly think the group is a friendly one for new and old members alike so not sure what your problem is.

    ive been to one meet and paid my subscription and was on the stand but it don't matter now cos ive left East Yorks.

    I find the other groups more friendly and approachable , so they will do for me lol

    i find that quite strange , i have found the east yorks lad's very friendly , friendly to the point if we give up concours we will be joining them and then we can go on there stand at shows , and there not even our local group , hang in there:) maybe cause it was there show everyone was probebly a little more stressed that usual i know stu was :D

    Right, enough.

    We has quite a stressfull weekend with a few things and this isn't the place for this.

    If we have offended you Gray, then my apologies and would like to know which car it was on the stand. We are, as many folks will testify, a friendly lot so not sure what the problem has been. If you require current membership costs refunding please let me know via pm and I will arrange. We don't need unsatisfied customers.

    This is the last post on this subject, I will get locked if it continues.
